Instructions

  1. Soak the Melon Seeds: Rinse 1 cup of raw melon seeds thoroughly, then soak them in filtered water for 4 to 6 hours or overnight to soften for easier blending and smoother milk.
  2. Blend the Seeds: Drain the soaking water and add the softened melon seeds to a high-speed blender with 3 to 4 cups of fresh filtered water. Blend for about 2 minutes until the mixture is silky, creamy, and free of large seed pieces.
  3. Strain the Milk: Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag into a clean bowl or pitcher. Gently press or squeeze to extract as much creamy milk as possible, saving the leftover pulp for other uses if desired.
  4. Add Flavor and Sweeten: Stir in 1 to 2 tablespoons of your preferred natural sweetener, add a splash of vanilla extract if using, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to balance the flavors perfectly.
  5. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the Melon Seed Milk for at least one hour to cool. Serve chilled over ice or enjoy as is for a refreshing and nourishing drink.
